How to Choose the Right Size
- Two adults + two young children: a mid-size SUV is usually ideal — space for a pram and shopping without the running costs of a large vehicle.
- Five or six people: a 7-seater MPV. In most cars, five adults plus luggage is uncomfortable for anything beyond a short trip.
- Seven people with airport luggage: a Nissan Patrol or a full-size MPV. This is the combination that catches people out — a compact 7-seater seats seven or carries luggage, rarely both.
- Visiting relatives for a few weeks: ask about a monthly plan, which is far cheaper per day than repeat daily rentals.
Child Seats & Safety
UAE law requires appropriate child restraints for young children, and infants must never be held on a lap. We provide child and booster seats on request — let us know each child’s age and we’ll fit the right seats before delivery. Our family vehicles have multiple ISOFIX anchor points.
Two further points worth knowing: seatbelts are mandatory for all passengers front and back, and you should never leave children in a parked car in the UAE heat, even briefly.
