Al Madina’s published terms state that comprehensive insurance is included with every rental, subject to the insurance policy, rental agreement and applicable excess. Coverage is not unlimited. Unauthorised drivers, prohibited use, off-road driving, reckless conduct, missing police reports and excluded damage may leave the renter responsible for some or all costs.
Quick facts
| Point | What customers should know |
|---|---|
| Included cover | Comprehensive cover under Al Madina’s published terms. |
| Policy excess | May apply when the renter is responsible or under policy conditions. |
| Police report | Normally required to support an accident claim. |
| Excluded use | Prohibited or unauthorised use may invalidate coverage. |
| Optional protection | Ask whether additional cover or excess reduction is available. |
What comprehensive insurance means
Comprehensive insurance generally covers insured vehicle damage and third-party liability within policy terms. It does not mean every incident, fee or item is covered without limits.
Common exclusions
Typical exclusions can include off-road use, tyre or rim damage, underbody damage, interior damage, lost keys, undeclared drivers, driving under the influence and failure to report an accident correctly. The signed policy and agreement control the final position.
What to do after an accident
Stop safely, contact the appropriate authorities, notify Al Madina immediately and follow instructions. Do not admit liability, arrange repairs or leave without completing the required reporting process.
Practical example
If a renter reports a road accident promptly and obtains the required police report, the claim can be assessed under the policy. Without the required report, the insurer may reject the claim.
Before you book
- Read the excess and exclusions.
- Confirm every driver is listed.
- Inspect and photograph the car before driving.
- Save the emergency and rental support numbers.
Al Madina policy
Final eligibility, charges and rental conditions depend on document verification, the selected vehicle, availability, insurer requirements and the confirmed rental agreement. Ask Al Madina to confirm any condition that is important to your booking in writing before payment or handover.
